Monsoon Arrives In Delhi As Heavy Rain Hit The Capital
The Indian Meteorological Department had predicted moderate to heavy rainfall in Delhi today. The delayed monsoon finally seems to arrive in Delhi as heavy rain and thunderstorm hit the capital this morning. After a series of IMD’s incorrect predictions, the weather department received a lot of criticism. It predicted monsoon’s arrival last Saturday in Delhi, but the capital reeled in intense heat for weeks. Finally, the long wait for monsoon has ended and will soon cover the remaining parts in the next few hours, as per a senior IMD official.
