Pak Commandos Involved In J&K Encounter Suspects Indian Army
Some sources in the Indian Army and J&K police have said that there is an involvement of Pakistani commandos in the recent fight between security forces and the group of terrorists in the jungles of the Poonch district of Jammu & Kashmir. In the J&K encounter, 9 soldiers, which also included 2 Junior Commissioned Officers, have been killed while fighting the terrorists. The fight that continued for at least 8 days has been the deadliest encounter for India's military in recent years. The source, requesting not to be named, said: "The group of terrorists may also include Pakistani commandos. But we will only know for sure once they are shot down," The reason that suggests the involvement of Pakistani commandos is due to the fact that the infiltrators were able to inflict heavy casualties and managed to evade so many security forces. As per some sources, terrorists might have been cornered by the army's para commandos and helicopters. Security forces are hoping that the encounter will end sooner than later.
