PM Modi Leaves For India After G20 And COP26 Summit

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter and tweeted: "Departing from Glasgow after two days of intense discussions about the future of our planet. India has not only exceeded the Paris commitments but has now also set an ambitious agenda for the next 50 years," After taking part in two intense discussions with world leaders, PM Modi finally left for Delhi. Before PM Modi's departure to India, a large group of Indian community members dressed in beautiful Indian attires gathered to bid him farewell and PM Narendra Modi also played the drums along with them. During his official visit, PM Modi attended the 16th G20 meeting from 30th October -31st October at the invitation of Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi in Rome. After visiting Rome, he arrived in Glasgow for COP26 (26th conference of parties to the United Nations Framework Convention On Climate Change) at the invitation of the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Covid-Bulletin: India Registers 11,903 New Covid-19 Cases; Recovery Rate At 98.22%

According to the latest data released by the Union Health Ministry, India has recorded 11,903 new covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. The active caseload of the country currently stands at 1,51,209, which is the lowest in 252 days. Meanwhile, daily recoveries continue to outnumber fresh covid-19 cases, with recording 14,159 recoveries in the previous 24 hours. The total recoveries in the country currently stand at 3,36,97,740. The daily and weekly positivity rates stand at 1.11% and 1.18%, respectively. As per the Indian Council of Medical Research, the country has conducted 61.12 crore covid-19 tests so far. Dengue Outbreak: Union Health Ministry Rushes Team To States/UTs With High Caseload

To control the Dengue outbreak in the country, Union Health Ministry has rushed high-level teams to 9 States and Union Territories that have reported high caseload of Dengue. On Wednesday, the Ministry Of Health And Family Welfare issued a press release regarding the same. As per the release, the states including Haryana, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala, and Punjab have been reporting a surge in Dengue cases, and teams have been sent to support public health measures for management and control of the infection. Across the country, a total of 1,16,991 Dengue cases have been reported so far by States and UTs. 

Bharat Biotech Submits Additional Clarifications To WHO; Decision Likely By Today

After an independent advisory panel, the Technical Advisory Group (TAG) of the World Health Organization sought some additional clarifications from Bharat Biotech over its covid-19 vaccine, Covaxin; the manufacturing company has submitted the same. On Wednesday, the World Health Organization will meet to discuss the issue and is likely to pass the decision. Delhi: Air Quality Deteriorates To Very Poor Category 

On Wednesday, the Centre-run System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR) informed that the air quality of the national capital has dropped to the very poor category. Earlier, the Indian Meteorological Department had said that the air quality over Delhi-NCT is expected to remain in the very poor category on 2nd November and 3rd November 2021.
