OPPO Introduces New Cutting-edge Imaging Technology for Smartphones

The 2021 OPPO Future Imaging Technology Launch Event was conducted by OPPO, a renowned worldwide smart device brand. OPPO announced various improvements in smartphone photography technology at the online event, focusing on upgrades to sensors, modules, and algorithms. To enable customers to "capture the beauty in life with ease," the firm has focused on self-development and optimization of underlying photography technologies. OPPO's next-generation RGBW sensor, 85-200mm Continuous Optical Zoom, Five-axis OIS technology, and next-generation under-screen camera with some proprietary AI algorithms are all included in these breakthroughs.

The next-generation RGBW sensor improves color performance while increasing light sensitivity.

By incorporating additional white sub-pixel(W), revolutionary DTI technology, and OPPO's self-developed 4-in-1 pixel algorithm, OPPO's next-generation RGBW sensor significantly improves light sensitivity. As a result of these advancements, the new sensor can collect 60 per cent more light than prior sensors while also reducing noise by up to 35 per cent, resulting in considerably clearer and brighter photographs in low-light circumstances. The next-generation RGBW sensor is produced with modern manufacturing and processing technology, which increases the computational power required to run complex algorithms while also increasing the quantity of data retrieved via the sensor's white pixels. The 4-in-1 pixel algorithm developed by OPPO helps to significantly improve the sensor's color performance, reducing issues like color inaccuracy and moiré patterns. In addition, the new sensor's industry-leading DTI pixel isolation technology efficiently prevents sub-pixel crosstalk and improves image quality. From Q4 2021, the new sensor will be commercially available in OPPO devices. Modules that have been added: The OPPO 85-200mm Continuous Optical Zoom allows for exceptionally smooth zooming, while the OPPO Five-axis OIS ensures crisper photos.

OPPO Continuous Optical Zoom 85-200mm

The 85-200mm Continuous Optical Zoom is a newly released module that redesigns the underlying structural module at the hardware level:
  • For the first time, it uses G+P (glass + plastic) lens technology, introducing two ultra-thin, high-precision aspheric glass lenses to greatly improve optical effects including reducing stray light.
  • The newly upgraded guiding shaft motor increases the dynamic tilt at which the lens system can be moved, easily supporting Continuous Optical Zoom at higher magnifications.
  • The innovative application of a tunnel magnetoresistance sensor (TMR sensor) allows the lenses within the camera module to move with more stability and precision.

oppo Algorithm Changes: The next-generation under-screen camera is supported by OPPO-developed algorithms that provide the ideal balance of screen and camera quality. Finally, OPPO demonstrated their next-generation under-screen camera system, which would be used in future smartphones. The under-screen camera region has a 400-PPI high-quality display thanks to the revolutionary pixel geometry. The outcome is a considerably better display quality with a smoother visual experience thanks to transparent wiring and a redesigned design. The chromaticity and brightness of the entire screen are more precisely managed, with a variance of only around 2% and a screen lifespan of up to 50%, thanks to each pixel circuit driving only 1 pixel (“1-to-1”) in the screen and OPPO's exact algorithmic compensation technology.

The Reno6Series AI Portrait Expert from OPPO provides a greater portrait shooting experience.

oppo-mobile OPPO, a global leader in smart devices, today announced the launch of the Reno6Series, the newest edition to the Reno series, in Pakistan. The Reno6 Series, dubbed the "AI Portrait Expert," comes with industry-leading features like the newly introduced Bokeh Flare Portrait Video, which creates cinematic bokeh flare effects in portraits, and the upgraded AI Highlight Video, which allows customers to capture every precious moment as professional-looking portrait videos. Reno6 also has an OPPO Reno Glow design, ultra-fast charging speed, the super-convenient smart ColorOS 11, and optimized heat dissipation, all of which contribute to a more fluid and responsive user experience. OPPO smartphones announced the Reno6 series in an online event. The event featured an exciting live performance by OPPO Brand Ambassador Asim Azhar, who not only debuted the new Reno6 and Reno6 Pro, but also the much-loved Reno6 and Reno6 Pro. Fans can now participate in the making of the famous singer's music video, Bol Day. Furthermore, OPPO has launched the “Discover the Faces of Pakistan” project, in which they collaborate with the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) to capture national sentiments through striking pictures and showcase Pakistan's distinct culture to the globe. In late September, the piece will be featured in OPPO Gallery, a virtual art exhibition developed by OPPO for everyone. Maya Ali, an OPPO Brand Ambassador, spoke about OPPO Gallery and how the firm provides a platform for budding artists to present their work at the star-studded event. Along with OPPO CEO George Long and Asim Azhar, she also showcased the phone. Leading content artist posted images shot on the OPPO Reno6 to demonstrate the phone's genuine camera capabilities. The star product, the OPPO Reno6, is a perfect advance from the Reno5. Users may now watch Bokeh Flare portrait videos as well. The Reno6 also has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, as well as OPPO's own RAM Expansion technology, which allows portion of the ROM storage to be used as short-term memory if RAM space becomes scarce. When necessary, the basic 8GB of RAM can be expanded with an extra 2GB/3G/5GB of RAM. This time on Reno6, two texture layers were added, with the Color Film adding more blue and green tones and the Bullet Texture increasing transparency. As a result, more nuanced tones resembling rainbows reflect millions of colors. When you pull out your Reno6, it's more than simply a set of features; it's a fashion statement — a style choice. “At OPPO, we believe that technology should be used to benefit people rather than to replace mankind. For the sake of humanity, technology should serve a greater purpose.” (Assistant Director of Marketing Hamza Jaffri) The 50W Flash Charge and the Reno6's 4310mAh long-lasting battery life are two of the Reno6's many remarkable features. In 45 minutes, the Reno6 can be charged to 100%. It comes with ColorOS 11, OPPO's own Android-based mobile operating system, which offers increased efficiency, unrivaled smoothness, and enhanced privacy for a more pleasurable and peaceful smartphone experience. Later in October, the OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G will be released. It has a 6.5-inch 3D curved display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a touch sampling rate of up to 180Hz, offering a silky-smooth feel and a comfortable viewing experience. The display is HDR10+ certified, and it includes the Dimensity1200, MediaTek's latest flagship 5G-integrated SoC, as well as 65W Super VOOC 2.0, which can charge to 100 percent in around 31 minutes.
