Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has come out with the latest update for his fans. This is with regards to his plans for the T20 World Cup. The Mumbai Indians star has been out-of-form in recent times. Further, he came back from a serious back injury that required surgery. Things have not been the same since his return so far.

Hardik Pandya came out and said that he would want to bowl at the T20 World Cup. The tournament that was originally supposed to be held in India, could be now held at a different venue. Irrespective of that, the Baroda star has said that he wishes to be part of the bowling attack as well.

All-rounders are the need of T20 cricket. However, the recent surgery prevented Pandya from bowling. It was confirmed in the media that Virat Kohli was conserving him for the T20 World Cup. With that being said, the player has now come out and suggested that he wants to contribute both with the bat and the ball in the upcoming tournament.

In his recent statement, he said, “For me, I want to make sure that I will be able to bowl in all the games of the World Cup. I am just trying to be smart that I do not miss that. My full focus is the T20 World Cup and playing in it.”

It is good to see that the hard-hitting all-rounder is focused on winning a World Cup. He will play a key part in helping Team India’s chances of winning the trophy. It will be interesting to see whether the likes of Pandya and co. can deliver in the T20 World Cup or not.
