IPL Update: The Match Between Punjab Kings And Royal Challengers Bangalore

Punjab Kings will face Royal Challengers Bangalore at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Punjab Kings have not played their best cricket yet. Their team combination is not looking quite settled at this moment. They will be eyeing to make a comeback in this match against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore have won their previous match against Delhi Capitals by one run. After a defeat against Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore have made a remarkable comeback. They will be eyeing to maintain the winning run in the upcoming matches.

Punjab Kings:

KL Rahul’s batting approach in the powerplay is certainly questionable at this moment. The headache of captaincy is affecting the nature of his batting. The team management needs to fix this issue as soon as possible. The top four batters of Punjab Kings are capable to damage the bowling lineup of any side on their day. So, the fearless batting approach might be the key to success for Punjab Kings. There might be a few changes in the starting XI of this team. Jhye Richardson might come in place of Moises Henriques to add some depth in the bowling. Nicholas Pooran needs to get back in form quickly. Otherwise, Dawid Malan might be a good option for Punjab Kings to look at.

Probable Starting XI:

Mayank Agarwal, KL Rahul (C and WK), Chris Gayle, Nicholas Pooran, Deepak Hooda, Shahrukh Khan, Moises Henriques, Chris Jordan, Ravi Bishnoi, Arshdeep Singh, Mohammed Shami.

Royal Challengers Bangalore:

Royal Challengers Bangalore have played really well so far in this tournament. Devdutt Paddikal is in red hot form at this moment. Virat Kohli has not yet showed his class yet so far in this tournament. So, he will be desperate to put some runs beside his name in this match. Glenn Maxwell and AB de Villiers have been in good touch. Harshal Patel is currently the purple cap holder and Mohammad Siraj’s death bowling has improved a lot over the years.

Probable Starting XI:

Devdutt Padikkal, Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar, AB de Villiers, Glenn Maxwell, Washington Sundar, Daniel Sams, Kyle Jamieson,  Harshal Patel, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammad Siraj.
