Virat Kohli’s Emotional Speech after Royal Challengers Bangalore IPL 2021 Exit

Virat Kohli gave an emotional speech on his journey as the Royal Challengers Bangalore captain and said that he was nothing but appreciative of the franchise for believing in his abilities. Virat Kohli's final match as a captain in the Indian Premier League ended in heartbreak as the Royal Challengers Bangalore lost the eliminator against Kolkata Knight Riders by 4 wickets in Sharjah on Monday. Following the exit from the tournament, Royal Challengers Bangalore posted a video on Twitter where Virat Kohli opened up on his journey with the franchise. The inexhaustible run-scorer was quoted saying that he has no complaints only gratitude for the team. Virat Kohli says that it is an emotional movement for him as he had led this franchise for a long time. He said,  “I have tried my absolute best to make team the win and bring home a title. Unfortunately that could not happen. But I have no complaints I only have gratitude for the opportunity RCB has given me”. Here’s a clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6nI0uLbggI While speaking on this memorable moment as a captain of the team Kohli said that the wins that came for Bangalore will always remain special for him. The matches that you win especially on the home ground are always the most amazing and those are special moments as a captain when one sees the team pulling things off.  Kohli will now shift his attention to the T20 World Cup. He is all set to lead the national side for the last time in the shortest format of the game. Kohli will be looking to end the nation’s 14-year long wait for a T20 World Cup.

Former KKR Captain Gautam Gambhir Lauds Sunil Narine for His Match Winning Spell against RCB

Kolkata Knight Rider’s Sunil Narine bowled an outstanding spell on Monday at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Narine gave a huge blow to RCB as he took the wicket of captain Virat Kohli early in the innings. Later he also knocked over AB de Villiers. Narine ended with figures of 4/21 after his four overs. Sunil Narine’s bowling in the UAE has been a revelation so far. He has displayed variations in his bowling which completely bamboozled the batsman. No one knows better about Narine's ability than former KKR captain Gautam Gambhir. Talking about his impact on the team Gambhir said that the Caribbean spinner’s quality can easily deceive even the best batsman on the pitch. The strangest thing is everyone talks about Narine as a mystery bowler but no one makes use of the term quality. Narine has picked 14 wickets so far in the season
