NEET 2023 Exam Date Update: All-India Medical Exams likely to take place in May 2023

As per NEET latest news, the National Eligibility Entrance Test for admission to MBBS and BDS courses is expected to happen in May 2023. The registration for the same is likely to begin in March 2023 for the academic year 2023-24.

According to the latest reports, the NEET 2023 exam will be conducted in the initial week of May, which would probably be on Sunday. In addition, this year, the authorities have planned to conduct the exam in its conventional format, i.e., the medical entrance exam will be held just once. There has been a demand of conducting the exam twice a year, but in 2023 also the exam will happen only once.

Earlier, because of the pandemic, there was a mess in the academic year. As a result, the medical entrance test was held twice a year to compensate for the delay in the academic year. However, now the NTA would hop back to its pre-pandemic schedule, and the exam will be conducted once a year. The NEET 2023 exam date will probably be the first Sunday of May 2023.

According to last year’s numbers, a record-breaking 18 lakh students registered for the exam, and this year the number of registrations is expected to be bigger than that of the last year. Statistically, the number of aspirants is multiplying each year. In addition, the Government has also removed the upper age limit, which is expected to boost registrations.

NEET 2023 Exam Pattern

According to the recent NTA news, the authorities will not extend the duration of the 2023 exam, as they did last year. Furthermore, there were 50 questions in each section, and the students were supposed to attempt 45 questions in each section to clear the paper. However, this year, this might not be applicable, and there could be a change in the number of questions asked.

Reportedly, the exact details related to the exam pattern are yet to be revealed, and the same will be published in March along with the official notification of the NEET paper.

The aspiring candidates are in the 11th hour of preparation. Students are putting in their blood and sweat to prepare for the exam. NEET is one of the most competitive exams in the country. In addition, with the increase in the number of registrations, the competition for aspiring candidates is also increasing. With the last five months left for registration, students are trying to be in their best form to beat the competition and get through the best colleges for MBBS and BDS.
