With the scare of the Omicron variant and a threat of a potential third wave of the covid-19 pandemic, the government had to shut down all theatres and multiplexes in the country. However, as the covid-19 cases are dropping with each passing day, the makers are gaining confidence to release their movies in the theatres. The covid-19 pandemic had transferred the business towards the OTT platform; there are still some directors who would like to take the conventional route of releasing films in theatres. To be honest, we can’t be more happier than witnessing the much-awaited films in the grand old style.
Bollywood has several films in stock to be watched and we have the release dates with us so that you can mark your calendar well in advance:
Radhe Shyam
Director: Radha Krishna Kumar
Cast: Prabhas, Pooja Hegde, Bhagyashree, Krishnam Raju
Releasing On: 11th March 2022
Set in the 1970s, Radhe Shyam is a period-romantic drama film shot in both Telegu and Hindi simultaneously. It’s a war between love and destiny, plus it has the Baahubali in it! Aren’t these reasons enough to not skip this movie?
Jhund
Director: Nagraj Manjule
Cast: Amitabh Bachchan, Akash Thosar, Rinku Rajguru, Ganesh Deshmukh

Directed by Sairat fame Nagraj Manjule, Jhund is a biographical sports drama film. In the movie, Big B will be essaying the role of Vijay Barse, the founder of Slum Soccer, an organisation that aims to uplift underprivileged children through Football. Jhund will be the first directorial venture of Nagraj in the Hindi film industry.
RRR

Cast: Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn

One of the most awaited films of 2022 and probably the film that saw many release dates and their postponement, the magnum opus RRR is finally all set to hit the theatres. The film tells a fictional tale of two real-life legendary revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem of the 1920s, who embarked on a journey to fight for their country.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Bachchan Pandey is a perfect mixture of comedy, romance and drama, along with a stellar cast. Apart from Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon, the film also features Pankaj Tripathi, Prateik Babbar, Saharsh Kumar Shukla in pivotal roles. Well, Khiladi Kumar is back in action after Sooryavanshi!
