Janhvi Kapoor Says: “I’m Amazed At The Double Standards, But I Don’t Care”

We often see celebrities being hit by trolls in every move they make and every step they take. Whether it’s about their clothes, opinions, films, or other works, celebrities often get hit by hate comments on various social media platforms. On the other hand, we also see some  Bollywood stars responding to criticism they receive on social media and slam trollers. The latest celebrity to do so is none other than late actor Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor. Recently, Bollywood female actor Sonam Kapoor surprised her fans after announcing she was expecting her first child with her husband, Anand Ahuja. People asked Janhvi why she was 'surprised' when she probably already knew the news, as Sonam is her cousin. "You act like you don't know," an user responded to Janhvi's comments. "Yaha bhi over acting," wrote another user. An user also wrote: "Omg what to aese likh rahi hai jaise isko phle se pta hi nhi tha," Meanwhile, Bollywood celebrity Janhvi Kapoor recently revealed how she copes up with social media and sometimes the hate that comes from it. In an interview, the female actor said she 'doesn't care' about it. "I have become increasingly indifferent to it. But time and again, I think I'm always a little surprised and taken aback by just the double standards sometimes. And how bitter some people can be, but it's not a big deal,” said the 25-year-old actor.  This is not the first time that Janhvi had to face online trolling. Netizens have time and again found reasons to pass insensitive comments about the actor. Recently, Janhvi Kapoor was mocked and trolled for allegations of plastic surgery and reacting surprisingly to the pregnancy of her cousin sister Sonam Kapoor. On the professional front, Janhvi last appeared in 'Roohi'. Some of her upcoming projects include Anand L Rai's Good Luck Jerry', a film that she  wrapped up in March. Besides, she will be appearing in 'Dostana 2' and is reportedly part of Karan Johar’s drama film 'Takht', with actors such as Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, and others. Janhvi also completed the shooting of her upcoming film 'Mili'. The film will mark the first-ever collaboration of Janhvi Kapoor with her father and producer Boney Kapoor. Janhvi Kapoor also has Dharma Productions’ film 'Mr And Mrs Mahi' alongside Rajkummar Rao.
