Recipe Alert: Beat The Heat With These 3 Refreshing Milkshakes

It’s summer season, and who doesn’t crave a refreshing milkshake? Famous food-blogger Shivesh Bhatia has incredible and fantastic recipes for three milkshakes; Butterscotch, Chocolate, and Mango milkshake.

Next time, if a guest arrives at your home, ditch the boring tea or coffee and offer them these milkshakes! (They will definitely ask for a repeat)

A note to remember: All these three milkshakes require a blender or food processor for the best results. Since these recipes involve different ingredients like milk and ice cream; a hand blender won’t give you the desired results.

These recipes are not vegan, so if you are a vegan, you have to just replace the dairy milk, ice cream, and whipped cream; you can use almond or soy milk for these recipes. You can use any vegan ice cream and dairy-free whipping cream to make these recipes vegan!

Mango Milkshake

Prep time: 5-10 minutes

Ingredients 

2 mangoes

1/2 cup milk

2 tablespoon sugar

Cardamom pods

Method

  1. Take your blender/food processor and add mangoes, milk, sugar, cardamom pods.
  2. Switch on your blender/food processor and let all the ingredients get blend properly.
  3. Continue to blend until your mixture achieves a smooth consistency.
  4. Pout into glasses, add ice and enjoy. 

Chocolate Milkshake

Prep time: 5-10 minutes

Ingredients

2 tablespoon cocoa powder

2 tablespoon sugar

1 cup milk

1 cup ice

1 scoop of vanilla ice cream

Chocolate glaze

Whipped cream

Chocolate Shavings

Method

  1. Take your blender/food processor and add milk, ice, sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla ice cream.
  2. Switch on your blender/food processor and let all the ingredients get blend properly.
  3. Continue to blend until your mixture achieves a smooth consistency.
  4. Drizzle chocolate glaze on the sides of your serving glass and pour the milkshake.
  5. Top it up with whipped cream, chocolate shavings and enjoy. 

Butterscotch Shake

Ingredients

1/4 cup milk

3 scoops of butterscotch ice cream

2 Tablespoon butterscotch

Caramel Sauce 

Method

  1. Take your blender/food processor and add milk, butterscotch ice cream, and butterscotch.
  2. Switch on your blender/food processor and let all the ingredients get blend properly.
  3. Continue to blend until your mixture achieves a smooth consistency.
  4. Drizzle some caramel sauce on the sides of your serving glass, pour the milkshake and enjoy.
