Elon Musk: The Indomitable King Of The Tech World

The magnitude of Elon Musk's success can be established from the very fact that in few years, he made it to the Forbes list of world billionaires. The man behind electric cars and space rockets is still going strong in the game, so much so that a tweet by Elon Musk can turn stone into gold. Not only is Elon Musk known for being the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, but also known for promoting futuristic technologies. The man is incredibly visionary and even went on to say that he won't be happy until we've escaped Earth and colonized Mars. As a mere audience, we see the extraordinary story of success but what we didn't know are the struggles and hardships that Musk faced in his journey to becoming the third richest man in the world. The man working for 80 to 120 hours per week and having a clear-cut vision was bullied during his school tenure. In one instance, he was beaten so much so that he got hospitalized. Being the firstborn of a South African father and a Canadian mother, Elon's childhood was very different from the usual. With a disturbing childhood and seeing his parents get divorced, Elon Musk still learned programming and developed a game at the age of 12. These instances are clear to build the fact that Musk was extraordinary and exceptionally talented.

The One Where Musk Ran Behind His Dreams

The journey of Elon musk becoming Elon Musk started right when he moved to Canada after graduating from secondary school. When he received a scholarship from the University of Pennsylvania, he moved to the United States and majored in Physics and Economics. Well, the tech world wasn't aware that a brain with so many crazy ideas is coming to revolutionize it.

When Musk Was Fired From His Own Company

Did you know that Musk was once fired from his own company who built tech giants like Tesla and SpaceX? Well, that's correct! If you were thinking that Tesla and SpaceX were Musk's first ventures then you are wrong. After getting a seat in PhD in Applied Physics at the prestigious Stanford University, he dropped out just after two days to start a new company called Zip2. From there started the actual journey of saving expenses by sleeping in the office and going to the nearby gym to take showers. Four years later, Musk and his brother sold the company, and Elon Musk received $22 million for his 7% stake in the company. Elon Musk then started another company called x.com and later merged it with its competitors, and PayPal was born. At PayPal, Elon Musk was fired from the CEO position. Later, PayPal was acquired by eBay for $1.5 billion, and Elon Musk received $165 million from the deal. Finally, the struggles of saving expenses were paying off.

Elon Musk -The Risk Taker

If you received $165 million one day, what would you do? Well, most of you would think of buying all the luxury items that you dream of, but that's where Elon Musk was different. Though he bought a McLaren and a Private jet, he took the biggest risk of investing in a company that was in a position of bankruptcy. Yes, you read that right! Elon Musk was visionary, and he knew exactly what he was putting his hard-earned money on - Tesla Motors!

The Journey of Tesla & SpaceX becoming the rulers

When Elon Musk invested in Tesla, it was no short of a failed company, but Musk being Musk, he took bold decisions and completely changed the future of Tesla. Right from firing the co-founder and actively participating in the company's innovation and decisions, cut to today, Tesla has almost little to no competitors in the electric car market. Well, Musk definitely anticipated a long time back that the world will eventually come down to using electric cars, and that is precisely why Tesla is ruling the electric car market unanimously. Tesla is now manufacturing Tesla Roadster 2.0, which is the world's fastest car ever. The story is quite similar for SpaceX as well. The story of SpaceX's success is the reason why Elon Musk is called the real-life Tony Stark. Elon Musk comes off as a person who has immense belief in his decision; that is why when he was on the verge of losing all his money, he still gave the go-ahead to the rocket (which failed to reach the orbit three times) and guess what? The rocket did not let Elon Musk down, and the project got succeeded. SpaceX got a deal from NASA and became the first private company to send a spacecraft to International Space Station. Well, that's what you can expect from a man who taught himself programming at the age of 12.

Elon Musk: "I Would Rather Kill Myself Than Losing The Battle"

The never-give attitude of Elon Musk made him the founder of SpaceX, CEO of Tesla Motors, CEO of Neuralink, Chairman of SolarCity and Co-chairman of OpenAI. Today, Elon Musk's net worth is close to $160.3 billion. This is the story of a kid who got bullied in school but still believed in his ideas and went on to reach new heights of success - that's Elon Musk for you! A great inspiration, and as you read about him, he might be thinking of new technologies to bring a significant change in the world.
