However, they will have to appear before the police as and when called by the department. Furthermore, an official from the police department made it clear that Siddhant was the disc jockey at the event, while most of the guests were from north India.  DCP Guled said that they seized seven MDMA tablets with a small amount of marijuana from the dustbin. As Siddhant’s test came positive for consuming drugs, the police further said that they were not sure whether the arrested people consumed drugs in the party or took it outside the party premises. The police further cleared that the party was open to public and the officials have recovered the CCTV footage and are planning to go through it to learn more about the event. Police suspects that the partygoers might have destroyed or disposed the drugs.  DCP Guled said that they got a tip-off about a party going on at a hotel on MG road, where the people were consuming drugs. As a result, a group of 25 police officers conducted a raid and detained 35 people in this matter. DCP made it clear that they did not find any drugs but recovered MDMA with marijuana that was disposed nearby.  Siddhant, on the other hand, has worked as an actor as well as assistant director in more than 20 films. Siddhant is Shakti Kapoor son and Sharaddha Kapoor’s brother. Earlier this month, the Bengaluru police also arrested 34 people in a similar case.  Siddhant Kapoor began his career as a disc jockey, and he later started working as an assistant director for almost two years. Siddhant has worked with director Priyadarshan and assisted him in several films that include ‘Bhagam Bhag’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiya’, ‘Chup Chup Ke’, etc. Siddhant Kapoor was initially suppose to make his acting debut in 2012 with Soham Shah’s film ‘Satte pe Satta’, which was supposed to be the remake of the original film, the 1982 Satte pe Satta. However, the idea of making this remake got dropped later. As a result, Siddhant consequently made his debut in 2013, with the film ‘Shootout at Wadala’.
