Manoj Bajpayee Saves ZEE5’s Latest Release ‘Silence Can You Hear It’

Plot: The Manoj Bajpayee and Prachi desai starrer film revolves around a brutal murder of a girl named Pooja (Barkha Singh) whose body is found by a group of trekkers. Pooja’s father (Shishir Sharma) recruits ACP Avinash Verma (Manoj Bajpayee) to find his daughter’s killer. The murder mystery does lack in continuity but the star of the show, Bajpayee’s effortless acting will keep you glued till the very end. The killer is of course the one who we suspect has nothing to do with the killing (The same age old formula for making a murder mystery!). Prachi Desai essayed the role of Inspector Sanjana Bhatia, who is in the investigation team of Avinash Verma. Believe us, it is quite refreshing to see Prachi back on the screen again after quite a long time. One more reason to wacth the film other than Bajpayee’s acting is his witty and unconventional methods to nab the murderer. The trump card of this series would have been the supremely talented Arjun Mathur who plays the role of MLA Ravi Khanna but he struggles with a dead role and can’t do much. First-time director Aban Bharucha Deohans really tries to put a detailed story but fails to do so. Anomalies and Absurdness continues to haunt the film till the end.
Our Verdict:
The film could have been a hit because the suspense is maintained till the very end but there are some serious plot holes which you really can’t ignore. What stands out in the film is Manoj Bajpayee’s stunning acting and his witty dialogues. So if you are a fan of Bajpayee’s acting, don’t give this film a miss! Trust us, It’s a treat to watch Bajpayee on the screen.
