On Sunday (10 September), Pakistan decided to ball first after winning the toss against India in the Asia Cup 2023. India did well in the cricket match against Pakistan. Gill and Rohit made their 50s. And Virat Kohli and Rahul were batting at the time when bad weather conditions, especially thundershowers, interrupted it. The 24th over of the Super Fixtures 4 of Asia Cup 2023 match was going on. Till 24.1 overs, India scored 147 with a loss of two wickets.

What is the Match Rule on Reserve Day?

India will have to resume the match from the point it was called off if the India vs Pakistan cricket match occurs at 3 pm IST today. It means India will start playing the match against Pakistan at 24.1 overs. The match will be of 50 overs. And Pakistan too will have to play the match till 50 overs.

If weather forecasts on reserve day come true, it will surely wash out the India vs Pakistan match today too.

What will happen if there is interruption in the match today?

If there is disruption in the India vs Pakistan match of Asia Cup 2023, it will be canceled. In this case, both India and Pakistan will get one and one point. As per the rule, the winner of the Super Four Fixtures gets two points. Pakistan has already won a match in the Super Four Fixture by beating Bangladesh. If Pakistan wins this match, which is going to complete today, it will be in the Final match of Asia Cup 2023 by having 4 points. Pakistan will have only 3 points if the match gets canceled due to thunderstorms and rain. The country will be in a better condition for the qualifying match of Asia Cup 2023.
