Virat Kohli And Cristiano Ronaldo: Fans Spot Two GOATS In One City

Two of the World’s biggest stars are in Manchester right now. One is Cristiano Ronaldo, who signed for Manchester United from Juventus to make a return to his former club after 12 years. The other one is of course India cricket team captain Virat Kohli. India will be playing the fifth and final Test match against England in Manchester where Kohli will lead the side. Ronaldo has also just arrived at the red half of Manchester. Kohli has a passion for football and he supports Chelsea Football Club in the Premier League. In 2014, Kohli even visited Stamford Bridge and posted a picture of himself holding a Chelsea shirt where his name on the back of it. Manchester United are Chelsea’s rivals of course but on the sporting spirit, both stars will not mind meeting each other while they are in the same city.

The Old Trafford is already buzzing alongside the United supporters all over the world. Virat Kohli’s men will play their fifth match from Friday, 10th September. This is a crucial game in the context of the series where India is leading 2-1 after their excellent victory at the Oval a few days back. A terrific 127 by Rohit Sharma started the counterattack which was the first overseas Test hundred by the hitman in his career. This century came at the most important time for his side. There were contributions from the lower order as well. Shardul Thakur in particular scored back to back half-centuries in both innings which helped India post 368 targets for England to chase. It could have been a record fourth-innings chase for the home side and they were looking good after the end of the fourth day’s play. On the final day, after lunch, the batting collapse began when the ball started reversing. Jasprit Bumrah’s excellent spell rattled the England middle order. Virat Kohli’s men won the game by a big margin of 157 runs. Meanwhile Australia’s legendary cricketer Shane Warne was full of praise for Virat Kohli for excellent leadership in test match cricket for India. Warne said that Kohli is the “Biggest superstar” in the game of cricket right now.
