Polling To Begin From Feb 14; Results Out On March 10

The Election Commission of India announced the election dates for the upcoming Goa assembly elections today. The election will be done in one phase starting 14 February. The results will be announced on 10th March. Goa has a total of 40 seats.

Issue of notification: January 21
Last date of nomination: January 28
Scrutiny of nomination: January 29
Last date of withdrawal of candidature: January 31
Date of poll: February 14
Date of counting: March 10
