Marvel Movies Dates Announced And Honestly, We Can’t Keep Calm!

Let’s just say Marvel Studios has a crazy fan following in India. Recently, Disney India announced the release dates of several Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movies in India, and it seems like Marvel fans are in for a big movie fiesta! Beginning with the release of The Eternals this Diwali, there is a long queue of MCU movies that you will witness in theatres. 

Fasten your seat belts and get ready to enter the fictional world of Spiderman and Doctor Strange; here are 7 Upcoming Marvel movies we are eagerly waiting for! (Mark the dates!)

The Eternals 

Release date: 5th November 2021

Cast: Gemma Chan, Richard Madden,Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff

The Marvel movie fiesta will begin with the release of The Eternals. In the film, after the deadly events of Avengers: Endgame, the immortals will be gearing up to fight against their enemy and another alien race called The Deviants. The film is based on a comic series by Jacky Kirby.

Spider-Man: No Way Home 

Release date: 17th December 2021

Cast: Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Benedict Cumberbatch

The film Spider-Man: No Way Home is a Sony Picture movie that has been made in partnership with Marvel Studious. Well, Spidey is a part of the MCU, and the film’s events will directly have a connection with Marvel’s Doctor Strange sequel. Though not much has been revealed about the film, the iconic characters and villains from Sony’s old Spider man movies are expected to make a comeback.

Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness

Release Date: 25th March 2022

Cast: Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Rachel McAdams, Benedict Wong

Doctor Strange is returning, and this time, it will be a more thrilling, scary and mind-bending adventure. The events in the film will reportedly have a direct connection with WandaVision and Loki. The release date of Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness has been pushed several times due to the pandemic, and now we can’t wait to see Doctor Strange taking us on a crazy ride! 

Thor: Love And Thunder

Release Date: 6th May 2022

Cast: Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, Christian Bale

This time, MCU has a female Thor for all you Marvel fanatics out there! The female Thor in the film will be coming alive straight outta comics. Everyone around the film is suggesting that Thor: Love And Thunder will be the craziest thing they have done, and it will be funnier this time around. 

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Release Date: 8th July 2022

Cast: To be announced 

Black Panther is one of the highly anticipated sequels of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Black Panther fans were left teary-eyed after the tragic demise of Chadwick Boseman on 28th August 2021. However, the show must go on! Though the makers are finding it hard to work without Chadwick, something is being worked out definitely, given the release date being announced. Nonetheless, we are going to miss Chadwick a hell lot while watching the film. 

Blade

Release Date: 7th October 2022

Cast: Mahershala Ali 

Since Disney India has announced the release date of Blade, that’s why the film could make it to the upcoming Marvel movies list. However, nothing related to the film has been made official. Going by the previous 1998 movie, we might witness the human/vamp hybrid protecting humans from vamps. (Major vampire vibes incoming!!)

The Marvels

Release Date: 11th November 2022

Cast: Brie Larson, Iman Vellani, Teyonah Parris, Zawe Asthon

The Marvels is the upcoming sequence of the 2019 film Captain Marvel. Apart from the information that the film is currently on floors, no details regarding the film have been revealed yet. The cast has been finalised, but the characters remain a mystery!
