Decoding Timeless Beauty Madhuri Dixit Nene’s Everyday Makeup Routine

No one in the world would disagree that Bollywood actress, Madhuri Dixit Nene is a flawless beauty. The naturally beautiful Kalank actor recently shared her everyday makeup routine on her YouTube channel with some fantastic tips and tricks that she has picked up over the years. 

Madhuri’s makeup routine is simple, easy and yet it will give you an effortless look, appropriate for work meetings or a lunch date with your bestie. Keep on reading as we decode the secret of Madhuri’s everyday makeup routine.

Follow these steps to achieve a flawless and natural makeup look just like the Bollywood Diva:

Step 1: Start by moisturising your face in upward strokes.

Step 2: Prep your under-eye to get rid of puffiness, bloating, tiredness and wait for two minutes.

Step 3: Conceal the dark areas of your face with a concealer.

Step 4: Apply minimal foundation and blend it in circular motion using a brush.

Step 5: Apply translucent setting powder to set your makeup.

Step 6: Brush your eyebrows and start filling them.

Step 7: Apply a slightly dark coloured eyeshadow to create a crease for the eyes. 

Step 8: Apply a brown coloured eyeliner and draw a line very close to your eyelash line and smudge it using a brush.

Step 9: Repeat the same step under the eyes as well.

Step 10: Carefully curl your eyelashes with an eyelash curler.

Step 11: Apply mascara in upward stroke on your curled eyelashes.

Step 12: Apply very little blush on the apples of your cheek.

Step 13: Line your lips and follow your natural lip line; you can also fill in your lips with the same liner.

Step 14: Apply your lipstick to complete the look.

• Always moisturise your face well as it helps in blending the makeup well.
• Blending is the key to achieve a natural makeup look.
• Always do a patch test before directly applying the product on your skin.  
• Keep in mind that Less is always more when it comes to makeup.
• Choosing a lipstick shade close to your natural lip colour will give you a more ‘no-makeup’ makeup look.
• Always check your teeth after applying the lipstick
