Filmfare Awards 2022: Bollywood Really Need Some ‘Red Carpet Fashion’ Lessons!
The 67th Filmfare Awards 2022 took place at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai yesterday. While the Awards turned out to be a massive success due to the incredible films of last year, it went on to become a major flop in terms of fashion. We saw some tacky satin and velvet dresses on the red carpet, where fashion is celebrated!
Come on, it’s 2022, and Bollywood needs to get over with those boring gowns. It’s the era of powerful and bold fashion, but these Bollywood celebrities choose to ‘play it safe‘. Are they so done dressing up for their airport looks that they were too lazy to experiment with their red carpet choice?
We understand that a lot of times, an outfit is unable to strike a chord even if it looked pretty the first time you tried it. But, this year, so many have disappointed us with their red carpet choices that it almost looked like a ‘big fashion disaster‘.
(It was quite an easy task to point out the worst dressed at Filmfare awards because they were so many!!!!)

Honestly, we don’t know where to begin from. From the weird ombre effect and accessories to the hair and makeup, nothing is going right with the look. The multi-hued halter neck was confusing at its best, and what is that free-flowing dupatta-like fabric doing at the back of that skirt?
