Sidharth Shukla Breathed His Last On Shehnaaz’s Lap Says Reports

The entertainment industry is devastated by the shocking death of well-known TV personalities and Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla. According to the latest reports, the actor was with his rumoured girlfriend Shehnaaz Gill when he breathed his last. The report said: “Around 1:30 am, Sidharth slept in Shehnaaz’s lap, and the latter then slowly moved away. She too slept, and around 7 am when she woke up, she saw Sidharth sleeping in the same position without any movement, and when she tried to wake him up, he did not move.”. Actor Rahul Mahajan who went to Sidharth Shukla’s residence after the shocking news, saw Shehnaaz and said that Shehnaaz has gone pale and it seems like a storm has passed and washed away everything that she had. Meanwhile, after the post-mortem, Sidharth’s mortal remains will be taken to the Brahmakumari Aashram in Juhu, then to his residence, and the last rites will be performed soon. The Mumbai Police is yet to release an official statement and the final report regarding the actor’s demise. Sidharth is survived by his mother and two sisters. We wish strength to Shehnaaz Gill and Sidharth Shukla’s family. 

We Must Speak For Muslims In Kashmir Says Taliban

The Taliban has captured Afghanistan, and it seems like they want to promote separatist activities in Kashmir. On Thursday, The Taliban spokesperson Suhail Shaheen said: “We will raise our voice and say that Muslims are your own people, your own citizens. They are entitled to equal rights under your laws,” Shaheen said that just as Hindus and Sikhs have the right to practice their religion, Muslims should also be given the right to practice their religion. However, the Taliban spokesperson also maintained that the group will not raise arms against any other country and as per the Doha Agreement signed between the Taliban and the USA, it will not allow any other group or entity to use Afghanistan soil to launch attacks against any other country. 

Covid-Bulletin: India Registers A Jump In Active Covid-19 Cases

According to the latest data released by the Union Health Ministry, India has recorded a jump in active covid-19 cases after 25 days. The country registered 45,352 covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. India’s active caseload currently stands at 3,99,778, constituting 1.22% of total covid-19 cases reported in the country so far. Meanwhile, India has recorded 34,791 recoveries between Thursday and Friday, taking the total recoveries to 3,20,63,616. The daily and weekly positivity rate currently stands at 2.72% and 2.66%, respectively. As per the Indian Council of Medical Research, India has conducted 52.65 crore covid-19 tests so far. On the vaccination front, India has administered 67.09 crore covid-19 vaccine doses under the nationwide vaccination drive. 

Weather Update: Delhi To Receive Light To Moderate Rainfall As Per IMD

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, Delhi is likely to receive light to moderate rainfall. Taking to Twitter, the IMD tweeted: “03/09/2021: 09:35 IST; Light to moderate intensity rain would continue to occur over Kaithal, Fatehabad, Hansi, Jind, Narwana, Barwala, Adampur, Hissar, Rajound, (Haryana) and adjoining areas during the next 2 hours,” On Tuesday morning, the capital received heavy rainfall causing waterlogging in many parts of the city and affecting the vehicular movement. 

Breaking: Tunnel Connecting Delhi Legislative Assembly And Red Fort Discovered

On Thursday, a tunnel-like structure connecting the Delhi Legislative Assembly and Red Fort was discovered. Speaking about the same, Delhi Legislative Assembly speaker Ram Niwas Goel said: “When I became an MLA in 1993, there was hearsay about a tunnel present here that goes till Red Fort, and I tried to search for its history, but there was no clarity over it,” Goel also said that in 1926, the Delhi Legislative Assembly was turned into a court and Britishers used the tunnel to bring freedom fighters to the court. Goel added that the gallows room present in the Delhi Legislative Assembly would be changed into a shrine of freedom fighters as a tribute to them. 

Historic Weather Event: New York Hit By Flash Floods

On Thursday, after flash flooding hit the remnants of Hurricane Ida, it killed at least 44 people in the New York area overnight. During the historic weather event, several people blamed the event on climate change. Heavy rainfall turned streets into rivers and shut down subway services in New York City. On Wednesday, New York Mayor Bill de Blasio informed: “We’re enduring a historic weather event tonight with record-breaking rain across the city, brutal flooding and dangerous conditions on our roads,” The local government declared state emergencies in New York and New Jersey and the first-ever emergency flash flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service urging New York residents to move to higher ground. 

Avani Lekhara Becomes The First Indian To Secure Two Medals In A Single Paralympics

Indian player Avani Lekhara has won the bronze medal in the women’s 50m Rifle 3 Positions (SH1) event. After the win, Avani became the first Indian to clinch two medals in a single Paralympics. Earlier, Avani secured a gold medal in the 10m Air Rifle standing event at the Tokyo Paralympics 2020
