PM Modi’s Big Charge On Congress: ‘We Told Them to Target Terrorism, But They Aimed at Modi’
On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the Congress party of shielding terrorist groups while it was in power at the centre. While campaigning in Kheda, Gujarat, PM Modi charged the Congress saying that it worked towards releasing terrorists. PM Modi further said that his party has always wanted to end terrorism, especially in Gujarat, which has borne the brunt of terrorism for ages. “We used to take action against terrorists. But no one can forget that the Congress government at the Centre used to work towards releasing those terrorists,” said PM Modi. Referring to the Batla House encounter, PM Narendra Modi said: “Remember, a Congress leader cried for the terrorists.” but he did not blatantly take Sonia Gandhi’s name. “We told them to target terrorism, but the Congress government targeted Modi. And as a result, terrorists became fearless, and terrorism raised its head in big cities,” added PM Modi. The Prime Minister also said that terrorism is like a vote bank to the Congress party. The BJP supremo added that after 2014, terrorists are scared to attack Indian borders, and Indian cities are safe while adding that we also need to keep Gujarat safe from the Congress and other such parties.

Shraddha Murder Case: Prime Accused Aftab Poonawala to Undergo Second Polygraph Test Today
Prime accused in the Shraddha Murder case, Aftab Poonawala, is set to undergo another polygraph test session at the Forensics Science Laboratory (FSL) in Rohini. Aftab is accused of killing his live-in partner Shraddha Walker and chopping her body into 35 pieces. The officials have said that the suspect will be asked to respond to some unanswered questions related to the heinous crime. The officials added that Aftab’s narco test would be done either today or Tuesday if the polygraph test is concluded today. “We kept our lab open over the weekend for the polygraph test. On Sunday, the investigating team confirmed that they have got approval for Poonawala’s custody from Tihar jail and will bring him to the lab for the remaining polygraph test session on Monday. We are also prepared for his narco test, which will be conducted at Baba Saheb Ambedkar hospital after the polygraph test is complete,” said Assistant Director of the FSL, Sanjeev Gupta. While both narco test and polygraph test results are inadmissible in court, through these tests, police hope to confirm if Aftab had been honest about his alleged version of the Shraddha Walker murder.
