A lot of doubts have been talked about with regards to the future of the Indian team’s management. Some fans have been questioning the management and skipper Virat Kohli for quite some time. They have been looking for a change. That is with regards to the future of Team India. With the T20 World Cup coming up, the tournament could be the final opportunity for both to prove their worth.

With that being said, a lot of former cricketers and Pundits have talked about this matter. They have been speaking their minds out. Some of them have been defending the skipper and the management. Others have been asking for changes with Rahul Dravid’s name coming up at times. With that being said, ex-Indian all-rounder, Reetinder Singh Sodhi has had his say on this matter now.

What Did Reetinder Singh Sodhi Say About The Future Of Ravi Shastri Ahead Of The T20 World Cup?

The T20 World Cup is right around the corner. The Indian fans will be concerned about the fact that the venue of the tournament has now changed. Team India would have been the favourites to win the competition. That is, had it been in India. However, with the shift in venue, the concerns have now grown.

On the other hand, with the T20 World Cup coming up, the chance to silence the critics is here once again. The duo could win the tournament and win the fans over again.

Keeping that in mind, Reetinder Singh Sodhi had this to say, “This is speculative for sure. It will be wrong to say that Ravi Shastri has not performed well. He has done quite well but if the parameter is winning trophies. We have not done that. If the Indian team wins the T20 World Cup, it will be impossible to remove Ravi Shastri.”

Well, it will be interesting to see whether the Indian team can deliver or not. There are some really good contenders for the T20 World Cup. It will not be easy to beat those in the upcoming days.
